Idaho Sportsmen’s Caucus Scores Victory
In a come from behind victory on March 24, the Idaho Sportsmen’s Caucus defeated HB174 - legislation that would permit moose and deer to be raised in game farms and turn regulatory authority of game farms from the Idaho Game and Fish Department over to the Agriculture Department - on the Senate floor. During the course of the debate led by Idaho Caucus Co-Chairman Senator David Langhorst and joined by fellow caucus members, 6 votes were swayed to defeat the bill 18-16.

NSSF Helping State Agencies Add Hunters
In an ongoing effort to preserve America's hunting traditions, the National Shooting Sports Foundation is again allocating half a million dollars to assist state conservation agencies in their efforts to recruit and retain hunters.

The Michigan Legislative Sportsmen's Caucus held its first meeting with special guest Aaron Hobbs, State Caucus Coordinator for the National Assembly of Sportsmen's Caucuses on March 10, announced Sen. Michelle McManus, Senate Republican Co-Chair.

Sidney Allen, Jr. has joined the National Assembly of Sportsmen’s Caucuses as the new Legislative Coordinator. Later this month Christie Caywood will be joining the Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation as the new Communications Coordinator.

The U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance, a longtime partner of the Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation, is stepping up their support to the Platinum level and expanding it to incorporate the National Assembly of Sportsmen’s Caucuses. During the NASC breakfast at the North American Conference, Rick Story, Senior Vice President of the Sportsmen’s Alliance presented CSF a check for $25,000

NASC Recognizes Important Role of State DNR Agencies
During a breakfast at the 70th North American Wildlife Conference, the National Assembly of Sportsmen’s Caucuses (NASC) briefed state fish and wildlife agency directors and conservation partners on the impact that state sportsmen’s caucuses are having across the country and encouraged them to become involved.
